Biography

My name is Parvaneh Baghaei shiva, MD and PhD by Research of clinical sciences, 55 yrs. I work as a clinical researcher from 2003 in TB ward and Clinical Tuberculosis and Epidemiology Research Center, Masih Daneshvari Hospital, Tehran, Iran. Prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of TB in patients are always my concern. In our research center, we perform research, write articles and update our knowledge by participating conferences, workshop, and etc.

A cross-sectional survey of people with NTM pulmonary disease

This study illustrated NTM-PD is more common among male and depend on the species of mycobacterium, can be found more in younger individuals, that it is different from other countries. For better prognosis in NTM-PD patients should consider uniform implementation of the treatment guidelines.
