Biography

Working as part of the Emergency Medical Assistance Service (SAMU) team in Niger, Dr Moussa Mamane Oumarou Farouk joined Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in 2020. From 2023 he joined the MSF TACTiC (Test Avoid TB in Children) project where he holds several responsibilities such as TB Project Focal Point, Clinical Investigator and MSF Intersectional Focal Point for Niger. He leads MSF's work to implement the latest WHO recommendations for the management of tuberculosis in children in Niger and to carry out national advocacy actions in collaboration with the Niger National Tuberculosis Control Program.
