Estimating the global financial burden of TB: Updated forecasts and funding scenarios, including a PEPFAR withdrawal scenario analysis

TB’s $81.5B-$93.45B annual burden, driven by mortality, demands urgent funding. Increased investment could save 312,000 lives and $14.85B, while PEPFAR cuts risk setbacks, especially in TB/HIV regions. Sustained Global Fund and bilateral support are critical to meet 2030 End TB goals.
