Biography

Nicole Anne Swartwood is a Senior Research Analyst in the Department of Global Health and Population at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Her work focuses on the application of Bayesian methods to understand tuberculosis epidemiology and transmission dynamics. Nicole completed her MSPH from Emory University in Environmental Health and Epidemiology. While at Emory, she studied the effect of ambient air pollution on tuberculosis epidemiology in South Asia. Nicole holds Bachelors in Science in Mathematics and Microbiology as well as Bachelors of Arts in German Studies, Religious Studies, and History, all earned at the University of Tennessee.
