I'm a Quality improvement Officer at the National TB & Leprosy Programme , under the Directorate of Special programme in the Ministry of health & Social service. I'm a Registered Nurse by profession, currently in my first year of pursuing Masters of Philosophy in Health system & research at Stellenbosch University.

Why are people with TB dying?

Mortality audits are essential in pinpointing preventable and systemic factors that lead to TB deaths, offering a chance to enhance systems and progress towards the End TB goals. We propose integrating mortality audits into TB program service delivery.
