Biography

Naveen Sankhyan is a Professor and Head of the Paediatric Unit at the Advanced Paediatrics Centre, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research in Chandigarh, India. He trained as a paediatrician and then as a Paediatric Neurologist. He has more than 25 years of experience in paediatrics and paediatric neurology. He has held various academic positions and is a fellow/member of several prestigious medical associations. His research focuses on problems in resource-limited settings particularly Tropical Neurology (Nutritional neurology, and TBM) and neuroimmunology. He is the site PI at one of the two Indian sites in the SURE trial.
