Key Impacts
Can we diagnose TB better in nutrition centres? Experience from Maiduguri Nigeria
Integrating the TDAs in a nutritional program has improved TB treatment initiation in malnourished children. Key factors for success included training, resource availability, follow-up of activities, and adaptive strategies. Future efforts should focus on sustaining progress and ensuring medication supply to enhance TB case care in resource-limited settings and nutrition projects.
