Currently serving as a Junior Research Fellow at PGIMER, Chandigarh, with over one year of experience in public health research and strong interests in tobacco and tuberculosis control. Silent aftermath: Cardiovascular risks in post-TB survivors

TB survivors face significantly higher risk for long-term cardiovascular diseases, including myocardial infarction, stroke, and pulmonary hypertension. Routine cardiovascular screening and follow-up should be integrated into post-TB care, especially for individuals with recurrent TB or coexisting conditions such as HIV infection.
