Biography

Dr Mohammed Yassin is a public health physician and epidemiologist with extensive experience. As Senior TB Advisor at the Global Fund, he provides technical leadership and works with +50 countries globally. 
He is the Chair of PPM Core Group, works with partners, contributes to policy/guidance development, promotes innovations and accelerates implementation.
He started his career as a physician treating patients with TB and other conditions in Ethiopia and later became Managed state TB and HIV program expanding services throughout the region.  
While working at Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, UK, he designed and implemented several multi-country projects. He published +80 articles.
