Milcah Ombuya is a dedicated Registered Clinical Officer (RCO) specialized in Family Health, with over 15 years of experience in both community and health facility settings. My expertise encompasses comprehensive Tuberculosis patient management and care, addressing TB alongside other comorbidities and community engagement. Throughout my career have demonstrated strong commitment to improving patient outcomes. I have successfully led teams at both health facility and Sub County levels in ensuring smooth service delivery towards improving patient outcomes and for healthier communities.

Strategies employed to improve treatment outcomes amongst people with TB who use alcohol in Korogocho informal settlements, Nairobi Kenya

This study demonstrates that it is possible to achieve good treatment outcomes among st alcoholics with TB. Use of DOT plus strategy for patients who are alcoholics, psychological support and food incentive significantly improves drug adherence and reduces lost to follow ups.
