Biography

I am a physician originally trained as an Infectious Diseases specialist in Brazil, with clinical experience in tuberculosis and related conditions. Currently, I am a Family Medicine Resident at the University of Manitoba, Canada. My research focuses on expanding access to TB preventive treatment, improving diagnostics, addressing comorbidities during TPT treatment, and tackling post-tuberculosis disability.
