Biography
Mathius is a highly experienced public health professional with over 15 years of expertise in governance, health policy advocacy, and programme implementation. He coordinates the Multi-Sectoral Accountability Framework for TB (MAF-TB), a groundbreaking initiative integrating TB prevention and control into national policies. He has led the integration of TB into the National HIV/AIDS Workplace Policy, piloted innovative TB service delivery models for elderly populations, and advocated for increased budget allocations for TB and HIV interventions. His efforts have mobilised political will, with senior government officials championing TB prevention and control.
