Biography

Marta Tufet Bayona is Head of Policy at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance. The Policy team leads the Vaccine Investment Strategy, Gavi’s process for prioritising and selecting new vaccines to support based on public health impact, value for money, and alignment with country needs. Gavi is a public-private partnership that provides support to improve access to life-saving vaccines in the world’s poorest countries. Since its inception in 2000, Gavi has supported the immunisation of over 1 billion children, helping to prevent more than 18 million future deaths and significantly increasing global immunisation coverage.
