Biography

I am a Clinical Researcher at the National Center for Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases (NCTLD), in Tbilisi, Georgia. My main research focus is tuberculosis (TB) in Georgia and specifically, the epidemiology of anti-TB treatment related adverse events (AEs) and pharmacology, including pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) of anti-TB drugs. At the NCTLD I’m involved in various types of researches and programmatic projects including PK-related innovative studies, aiming at measuring drug concentrations in plasma, ensuring patient individualized treatment regimens, and leveraging improved patient treatment outcomes.
