Biography

I am a pediatrician with a master's degree in Health Policy & Management. I serve as Director of Research & Innovation of Instituto de Investigacion Nuricional (IIN) and Lecturer of the School of Medicine of the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences. I have experience in tuberculosis research studies sponsored by MRC / DFID / Welcome Trust, IFHAD: Innovation For Health And Development, STOP TB Partnership and other funders. I have been PI or co-PI for observational studies on tuberculosis diagnosis, TB preventive therapy and TB related social economic support, the findings of which have influenced national health policies and practices.
