Biography

A Clinical Officer, Specializing in Chest Medicine, with 18 years of continuous experience in implementing TB control activities at the facility and management levels. I have worked at the sub-county level for six years, and 12 years at the County level, coordinating the implementation of TB and other lung conditions. I currently lead a team of  10 TB and Lung health Sub-County Coordinators who directly support facilities in Murang’a County to ensure optimal delivery of services, which has led the county to be able to achieve a TB treatment success rate of 90%. Additionally, I have been involved in the development of policy, guidelines, including algorithms, training materials, Standard operating procedures, and job aids related to TB and other lung conditions. I am also a Trainer of Trainers and have trained health care workers on the service delivery of TB and other lung conditions.
