Biography
Lindsey Turnbull is the Director of Global Public Health Research at Quantigen based in Fishers, Indiana, United States. Her work in tuberculosis focuses on developing workflows and assays for non-sputum based molecular diagnostics including for high throughput methodologies and point-of-care technologies. Lyophilized swab controls containing MTB demonstrate stable detection across a range of low concentrations on four devices following storage for two months at ambient temperatures. Continued development of device-agnostic, shelf-stable proficiency products will enable central laboratories and point-of-care settings to share a standardized toolbox for more equivalent evaluations.
