Biography
Leyla Larsson is a Research Fellow at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. For her PhD, she has used data from the ERASE-TB multi-country cohort study of household contacts to model disease trajectories, aiming to understand how one can best leverage longitudinal observational cohort studies to unpick the natural history of tuberculosis.
Key Impacts
CAD4TB trajectory modelling in a cohort of household contacts and association with socio-demographic and clinical characteristics
Our findings suggest that CAD4TB scores exhibit distinct longitudinal trajectories, which may provide insights into disease progression. Trajectory differences between CAD4TB v6 and v8 highlight the impact of underlying deep learning algorithms used for training.
