What will it take to achieve the End TB targets in South Africa?

It is unlikely that the End TB targets will be met in South Africa, given currently available interventions. However, it is possible to achieve substantial reductions in TB incidence with increased microbiological testing in symptomatic individuals and renewed focus on risk factors such as diabetes and smoking. Further analysis is needed to assess which interventions will be most cost-effective.
