Biography
Dr Lara Goscé is a mathematical modeller and Assistant Professor at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and lecturer at University College London. Her primary research interests focus on structural determinants of TB such as incarceration, poverty, and migration, by using modelling to address key scientific and policy questions, contributing to national and global policy decisions.
Key Impacts
Cost-effectiveness of conditional cash transfers with pre-test and post-test TB counselling in South Africa: A mathematical modelling study
CCT interventions with pre-test and post-test counselling appear to be cost-effective in South Africa, leading to a long-term reduction in TB incidence and mortality, and a potential reduction in the risk of catastrophic costs to households.
