Biography

As a Public Health professional with an impressive track record working as Medical Consultant for World Health Organization, India, I hold valuable experience in strengthening the implementation of India's Tuberculosis Elimination Program in high-burden settings of New Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. I am a recipient of Early Career Research Grants Awards by Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH) in 2019. My dream is to be a part of an incredible transformative process in Public Health, one that empowers the communities I am serving to have equal access to all the basic amenities including healthcare.

Delhi’s proactive and targeted optimization of NAAT diagnostic capacity enabled significant increase in TB case-detection during 100-day intensified TB case-finding campaign. This model of leveraging existing diagnostic infrastructure through data-driven planning offers replicable approach for other high-burden urban settings in resource-limited scenarios.
