Biography
Kristian van Kalmthout holds a master’s in public health with a focus on Global Health and a background in ICT. At KNCV since 2015, he leads digital health innovations, including adherence technologies, diagnostics, and surveillance. He directed the ASCENT project and developed the AI-powered virtual TB treatment supporter Aida via WhatsApp.
