Mr. Kraisorn Tohtubtiang, MD. The current position is Director of the Division of Tuberculosis, Thailand.
Bachelor's Degree of Doctor of Medicine from Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University since 1998.
Master's Degree of Primary Health Care Management since 2005 then lately certificate in Clinical Excellence in Primary Care and Community management course from Brighton and Sussex medical school in 2019. Work Experience: Deputy Director of Medical Affairs at Trang Hospital, and Director of Office of Disease Prevention and Control Region 11, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, Department of Disease Control.

Phenotypic and genotypic comparison of anti-TB drug-resistant M. tuberculosis in Thailand

This study serves as a guideline for medical laboratories in selecting the appropriate methodology for DST. Discordance between genotypic and phenotypic drug susceptibility testing may occur due to the limited coverage of genotypic methods, which primarily target hotspot regions and may overlook resistance-conferring mutations outside these areas. Whole genome sequencing (WGS) will be dissolved the limitation in the next stage.
