Kingsley Emeka Obideje is a Senior M&E Associate at KNCV Nigeria, specializing in the monitoring and evaluation of TB programs. With extensive experience in M&E, Kingsley has contributed significantly to the TB-LON 1&2 project in Nasarawa State, Nigeria. He holds a B.Sc. in Biology from the Federal University of Lokoja. Passionate about public health, Kingsley is committed to improving the lives of vulnerable communities by strengthening TB prevention and care. His work continues to drive impactful change in the fight against TB in Nigeria.

Strengthening TB drug supply chains to reduce stockouts: Lessons from Nasarawa State, Nigeria

To prevent TB drug stockouts, this study recommends revising standard operating procedures, developing stock shortage prevention guidelines, and enhancing intra-state drug transfer logistics. Regular SCM training for DOT officers, strengthening monitoring and evaluation systems, and mandating TB stock card utilization across all facilities are essential. These measures will ensure consistent drug availability and improve TB prevention outcomes in Nasarawa State.
