Biography

Keymanthri Moodley is an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences, Stellenbosch University, South Africa. Over the past 30 years, she has worked as a specialist family physician and bioethicist. To date, she has served as Principal Investigator on 5 NIH grants and has over 140 publications (journals, books, book chapters). Her most recent project focused on the ethics of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence in health. Keymanthri is a member of the WHO Ethics and AI Expert Group
