Biography
Professor Kelly E. Dooley is the Director of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She earned her MD from Duke University, MPH from the University of North Carolina, and PhD from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and completed clinical pharmacology and infectious diseases fellowships at Johns Hopkins.
Her research focuses on tuberculosis and HIV therapeutics, with a special focus on clinical trials. She serves as a consultant to WHO on TB and HIV treatment. She has a special interest in therapeutics for priority populations such as children, people with HIV, and pregnant women.
