Biography

Kehinde Ayooluwa Akande is a public health specialist/medical microbiologist, researcher, and academic peer reviewer. She has 9 years of experience working with supported non-governmental organizations, including USAID/IHVN TB LON3 Project PPM as a program officer and the Institute of Human Virology Nigeria as a program assistant and data assistant. She earned two master's degrees in public health and medical microbiology from Texila American University and the University of Lagos, respectively, with a first degree in microbiology from Babcock University. She enjoys educational reading, volunteering, fashion, and the Bible, and she is happily married.

This study was able to examine tuberculosis screening coverage among the workers in Lagos, and this is very significant to limiting the spread of TB, early diagnosis of TB, prompt treatment of TB, early contact tracing, and ultimately ending tuberculosis in the country.
