Biography

Dr. Juliana Pinhata is a Scientific Researcher at the Tuberculosis and Mycobacteriosis Laboratory of the Adolfo Lutz Institute, São Paulo state's public health reference laboratory for tuberculosis. She holds a Master's and a PhD in Sciences. She is responsible for the diagnosis of tuberculosis drug resistance, developing research aimed at incorporating new methodologies to improve tuberculosis diagnosis in the public health system.
