Biography

Julia Alonso is committed to advancing health equity and social justice through a transdisciplinary approach. With a background in Biotechnology, she gained professional experience in laboratory research and the pharmaceutical industry, including work in CAR-T cell oncotherapy. After pursuing a master’s in management and policy analysis, her career shifted to International public health. Currently, completing her master's thesis on integrated service delivery in tuberculosis with the epidemiology team at the KIT Institute. She seeks to bridge science, policy, and social equity to improve global health outcomes, with a focus on gender and inequality.
