Biography

I am a medical doctor with a background in epidemiology, currently pursuing a PhD in infectious disease. My research at the Kenya Medical Research Institute focuses on post-tuberculosis lung disease in children, using a comprehensive approach that includes clinical symptom assessment, chest radiography (CXR), computerized tomography (CT) scanning, and advanced pulmonary function testing to identify persistent respiratory abnormalities in pediatric TB survivors. Through this work, I aim to improve long-term care protocols for children recovering from tuberculosis.
