Biography

Jordana Galizia is a young researcher with a solid background in molecular microbiology.
She graduated in Biological Sciences in 2014 from the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina. In 2015, she was awarded a doctoral fellowship from CONICET, which allowed her to pursue her PhD, studing mainly the effect of nitrosative stress on mycobacteria.
In 2020, she obtained her PhD degree and moved to Spain, where she joined Dr. Santiago Ramón-García's group as a postdoctoral researcher within the ERA4TB framework. Since then, her professional focus has been on the evaluation of novel anti-tuberculosis combinations in an in vitro manner.
