Within a high-TB prevalence, urban environment, TB stigma was common, differed in frequency across communities, and correlated with social and demographic factors. We found an association between increased community-level TB stigma and health seeking behavior, suggesting a complex interplay between TB stigma and gaps in TB diagnosis, and supporting further investigation into the impact of TB stigma on the care cascade.
