Biography

E Jane Carter is a pulmonologist but has devoted most of her career to work in tuberculosis where her major focus has been on active case finding and removal of barriers to care. Jane is a professor (emerita) of Medicine at Brown University where she has led an exchange programme with Moi University School of Medicine in Kenya for 20 years. In addition to being past president of The Union, she serves on the technical review committee of TB Reach.
