Biography

Ingrid Eshun-Wilsonova is Global Medical Affairs Leader TB and HIV, Global Health Equity, at Johnson & Johnson. In this role Ingrid develops and executes the GHE TB and HIV Medical Affairs strategy. Prior to joining J&J Ingrid worked in the Infectious Diseases field for 18 years as a clinician, epidemiologist, and implementation scientist, and conducted pragmatic trials and mixed methods research in Sub-Saharan Africa and the United States as an NIH funded researcher. Ingrid has a Bachelor of Medicine degree from the University of Cape Town in South Africa, and a Masters in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Ingrid additionally holds a Professional Diploma in HIV management and Family Medicine from the College of Medicines in South Africa, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Epidemiology from Stellenbosch University in South Africa.
