Biography

Dr. Ignacio Monedero_Recuero, MD, MPH, PhD is a physician from Spain with 20 years of experience in programmatic and clinical DR-TB and TB-HIV management for the Union, WHO, and other agencies with expertise in more than 35 countries. He has delivered more than 90 international clinical/programmatic DR-TB and TB-HIV training and has been involved in more than 50 technical assistance missions. He is the author of more than 40 peer-reviewed publications and collaborates with WHO and Union guidelines and multiple national guidelines. He is the GDI vice-chair and EMRO GLC core group member and currently working as Medical Consultant for Damien Foundation.
