Biography

Idara Edo is a Dedicated and Detailed-oriented Professional in TB/HIV program with an extensive 5 years’ experience and passion in performing Health System Programs, Monitoring & Evaluation, , HTS Program, Project Management, Data Analysis/Entry, and Administrative roles.
She is a graduate of Agricultural Economics and Extension from University of Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State and holds a master’s degree in Information Management from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
She is also a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management.
She is self-motivated and excellence oriented, constantly seeking ways to improve the efficiency of project implementation to achieve the required goals.

Stand-alone lab intervention: A key driver to scaling up TB diagnosis in the Public Private Mix (PPM) model: A KNCV Nigeria experience

Scaling up this model in the future to other settings and strengthening referral linkages will expand TB control. Policymakers and implementers of TB programs must consider independent labs as key partners in the fight against TB, ensuring continued engagement, capacity building, and mainstreaming in national TB strategies.
