Biography

Auma Hellen is a passionate community mobiliser, teacher, and social worker dedicated to transforming lives through advocacy and mentorship. She empowers youth and women by promoting productivity, skills development, and health awareness. As the TB-HIV focal person at the Internal Security Organisation and a member of the ISO HIV and Technical Committee, she has championed the integration of TB into the HIV workplace policy, strengthened capacity-building, and spearheaded TB-HIV prevention efforts. Through her lived experience with HIV, she inspires change, fosters inclusion, and leads impactful community initiatives, making a lasting difference in the fight against TB and HIV.
