Key Impacts
Preferred short course TB preventive regimens for adults and adolescents living with HIV
Rifapentine-containing TPT regimens for PLHIV should continue to be scaled up. As 3HP is associated with high completion and low AEs, it is well-suited for broad implementation across LMIC settings. While 1HP remains promising, there is an overall need for more high-quality data on relative risks and benefits across different TPT regimens.
