Biography

Ms. Handaa Enkh-Amgalan is a book author, public speaker, and advocate for ending TB and its attached stigma to make a social change. In 2021, her debut book "Stigmatized" became an Amazon bestseller. Ms. Enkh-Amgalan delivered an opening speech at the 2023 second UN high-level meeting on TB, calling world leaders for urgent action to end TB and the associated stigma. Enkh-Amgalan earned a Master’s degree from NY University in public policy and a Bachelor’s degree in economics from East Tennessee State University. She works as a Director of Quality Assurance and Oversight at the International Rescue Committee in Berlin.
