Biography

Hamza Gambo Tilde is a public health professional with over five years of experience in TB program management, infectious disease research, and health systems strengthening. He currently serves as the Regional Program Officer for the Global Fund TB/HIV integrated project at the Institute of Human Virology Nigeria, where he provides strategic oversight and implementation support across Nigeria’s northwest region, which has the highest TB burden. He holds an MPH and an MBA in Hospital Administration and is passionate about infectious disease control and health equity. Hamza is deeply committed to improving access to quality healthcare for underserved communities.

This approach facilitated early detection, timely linkage to care, and highlighted TBAs’ potential in community-based surveillance offering a scalable model for closing service delivery gaps in high-burden areas.
