Biography
Dr. Hamsaveni G, a National Medical Consultant at GOI-WHO TB-TSN, focuses on Drug Resistant Tuberculosis. With certificate of MD and DNB in Community Medicine, her work since 2016 involves TB care. Field experience includes work in high TB burden areas, multisectoral engagement, developing TB-free workplace SOPs, supporting districts in implementing the strategies to reduce TB deaths. She has contributed to scaling up of new MDR/RR-TB treatment policy across the country. Her current focus is on the management of Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis and strive to solution-based strategy developing public health expert.
