Biography

Greta Wood is an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow in Infectious Diseases working to understand the nature of multimorbidity in TB and the impact on mortality and transmission. Her broader research interests include the use of biosensors in acute infection care and infection neuroscience. She is a member of the World Health Organization Neurology and Public Health Global Forum and sits on the Scientific Advisory Panel for Encephalitis International.

TB multimorbidity is highly prevalent and a major contributor to TB mortality. People with TB should be routinely offered screening and management of comorbid conditions to reduce their risk of death.
