Factors associated with high CAD scores among people living with HIV screened for TB using digital chest X-ray with computer-aided detection software in Kenya

Digital CXR with CAD effectively identifies high-risk PLHIV for TB, detecting cases even among asymptomatic individuals. Integration of this technology into routine screening could significantly enhance early case detection and improve treatment outcomes. Our findings support implementation of CAD-assisted digital CXR as a valuable tool in comprehensive TB-HIV management strategies.Future research should focus on evaluating optimal CAD threshold scores for PLHIV.
