Gistane Ayele is a public health professional and a PhD student at the Public Health Department of Arbaminch University. Over 15 years of work experience as a public health professional, researcher, lecturer, and health and demographic surveillance system unit project coordinator in South Ethiopia. Gistane published over 40 peer-reviewed articles in reputable journals focused on infectious diseases like HIV, tuberculosis, COVID-19, malaria, and non-communicable diseases like hypertension, nutrition, and maternal and child health.
