Biography
Prof. Gisèle Badoum Ouédraogo is a pulmonologist with extensive experience in public health. She has specialized in tuberculosis, multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB), and HIV through her fieldwork and research. In her home country, Burkina Faso, she supports the National Tuberculosis Program and has played a key role in establishing MDR-TB management. Building on her experience, she provides technical assistance to national TB programs across Africa and contributes to the organization of international training courses on TB and operational research. She serves as Director of the Union’s MDR-TB course, Senior Technical Advisor at The Union, and a member of the technical team for the CETA project.
