Biography

I am a medical epidemiologist and in charge of research at TransVIHMI / IRD in Montpellier. I am a principal investigator of a study on Post-TB Sequelae and their impact on quality of life in sub-Saharan Africa (Post-TB SIQ project). I am also involved in numerous clinical trials in low-income countries to improve the treatment of people co-infected with TB and HIV, especially TB meningitis and HIV patients with severe immunosuppression.

Medium- and long-term post-TB sequelae burden and health-related quality of life in sub-Saharan Africa

PTLD, 2-20 years after TB treatment is highly common in sub-Saharan Africa. A poor HRQoL in people with past-TB treatment history is more prominent among those with PTLD.
