Biography
Dr. Gabriela Tavares Magnabosco - Nurse and Associate Professor at the Department of Nursing and the Graduate Program in Nursing at the State University of Maringá (UEM), Brazil. She holds a PhD and a postdoctoral degree in Public Health Nursing from the University of São Paulo at Ribeirão Preto College of Nursing (EERP-USP), with a doctoral internship at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Dr. Magnabosco is the coordinator of the TB-HIV coinfection research area of the Brazilian Tuberculosis Research Network (REDE-TB) and leads the Research Group on HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis (GEPVHAT). She is also a member of the Brazilian Nursing Association – Paraná Section (ABEn-PR) and served as a technical consultant at the Brazilian Ministry of Health from 2017 to 2020. Her main interests include health policy, epidemiological surveillance, the control of chronic communicable diseases—especially tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS—health systems organization, health service evaluation, and health education.
