Biography

Frouke Procee is a medical doctor with a background in tropical medicine, having worked in Madagascar and Namibia. After returning to the Netherlands, she shifted focus to family medicine and human rights-based healthcare. Driven by a deep understanding of tuberculosis and its impact, she redirected her career toward TB care and prevention. She now works as a public health physician in tuberculosis care and control at the Public Health TB department in Amsterdam/Utrecht and the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment, where she contributes to national policy. She is also pursuing a PhD at the University of Amsterdam.
