PhD in Tropical and Infectious Diseases at the State University of Amazonas / Heitor Vieira Dourado Tropical Medicine Foundation. Currently an infectious disease physician at the State of Paraná Tuberculosis and HIV program; head of State Outclinic for DR-TB; member of Brazilian National Board for DR-TB; Dean of Faculdades Pequeno Príncipe School of Medicine and coordinator of the Multidrug-Resistant Tuberculosis area of the Brazilian Tuberculosis Research Network (REDE-TB).
