Using people-centred approach to enhance finding TB in internally displaced persons (IDPs) during the war in Ukraine
An innovative approach has allowed for the diagnosis of more TB cases without increasing the number of screened IDPs. Among all TB cases within IDPs diagnosed in Ukraine in 2024, 37% (196 out of 523) were diagnosed in projects funded by Alliance. A people-centered approach in service provision enables IDPs to seek TB screening and diagnostics in HCF.
